Tracking deadly viruses' spread from animals to humans

http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/africa/12/08/pip.zoonotics/index.html

Faced with limited food sources, Central Africans are forced to kill "bush meat" to avoid starvation. The potentially deadly zoonotic viruses, that spread around world, is then exposed to theses hunters. HIV, which causes AIDS, was the most prolific and deadliest zoonotic passed to humans. Pandemics can be prevented before they're spread globally, says Dr. Nathan Wolfe. I feel that the only way to controll this outbreak is either using isolation or medication but how do u isolate animals, monkeys to be exact and medicating a nation of people is imposible without funding from developed countries. But if we don't want to get caught by this virus then we'll have to do something and quick otherwise we'll end up medicating more than just a nation but possibly an entire globe.
